Nectar of Nidra: A Day Retreat

In our modern day lives, we have overlearned the skillsets of work, of grinding it out, of glorifying the busy. It is long past time that we drop back into honouring the rest that we all need and are all deeply deserving of.

Recovery is not something that we should wait to implement into our lives until we have no other choice, until we are burnt out and run into the ground. So here, we slip into the sweet nectar of stillness, of softness and of rest.

Join Lead Facilitator Adam Whiting for Nectar of Nidra: A Day Retreat. Your day together will be spent slowly swimming through the gentle yoga practices of slow flow, yin, restorative and deep yoga nidra.

A catered lunch is provided with nourishing and nutritious foods and warm tea will be flowing all day.

Please bring some extra props for a fully luxurious practice. This could include eye pillows, blankets, warm layers and soft cushions.

Come rest.

About Adam

One of the first things that people recognise of Adam Whiting (eRYT-500, YACEP, 1 Giant Mind Certified Meditation Teacher) is his laugh. Students say that they can hear it rolling down the street as they approach the studio to practice one of his classes. His smile is generous and immediate and his passion for yoga is contagious. Adam leads classes, workshops and trainings that are full of anatomical precision, intelligent sequencing, and potent philosophy. He has practiced and trained in various styles of yoga, including Tantra, Ashtanga, Anusara and Vinyasa. His musical training is integrated throughout his teachings in spirited kirtans and soft serenades in savasana. Adam has spent the last decade teaching classes, workshops and leading retreats and trainings throughout the United States, Australia and Asia. He now resides in Adelaide, Australia where he teaches at Human.Kind Studios.
