A tool that has the potential to create a more fluent teaching language that integrates kinaesthetic learning to the visual and auditory skillsets.
This training teaches you how to integrate touch into your classes with clarity, respect, and anatomical integrity. A touch that is invitational and not imposing. Prescriptive and not a one-size-fits-all universal assist. A realisation that hands-on assisting is a dialogue and conversation, not a monologue or firm directive.
We will explore the importance of consent, what it is and how we have the duty and responsibility to approach touch with care and intentionality to create a safe environment for your students.
Feel confident to use the powerful healing modality of touch in your yoga classes.
You have three diverse guides on this training. Lead Physiotherapist Triton Tunis-Mitchell brings an anatomical understanding to your touch. Adam Whiting brings years of experience facilitating advanced assisting trainings worldwide, and Annabel Saies, bringing a yoga therapy lens and a decade of personalised training practice.
Consistent with all Human.Kind Trainings, we are committed to offering 1 x full scholarship for an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person for Dynamic Landscapes, and sliding scale pricing for BIPOC folks. Learn more and apply or enquire here.
