Jemima Thomson
Facilitator & Educator
It was my mum that introduced me to a regular movement practice, taking me along to her pilates classes when I was 15. Over the years the way I move has evolved, and yoga became the practice I turned to; not only to soothe the aches and pains of my body, but to give me the space I craved in my mind.
I started my teaching journey with Aerial Yoga in 2019, and it wasn’t long before I had trained in Vinyasa with Human Kind (then Power Living) and Yin with Mel McLaughlin. I’ve had some incredible teachers over the years and now I feel so lucky to be able to share these practices; whether slow, dynamic, soft, or powerful, yoga is a beautiful tool to not only hone the body, but the mind as well.
My personal practice is centred around strengthening and stretching with an intuitive and joyful exploration of the body, and I aim to bring these qualities into my classes, hoping to give you the space to feel balanced and connected to breath, body and mind. I’m forever learning, and hope that my teaching will continue to evolve with me as my practice does too.
