(she/her)

Senior Facilitator & Programs Coordinator
Claire found yoga soon after the birth of her first son in 2009 as a way of regaining some pre-pregnancy strength and balance while creating some space as a new parent. She was hooked after her first class and quickly yoga became an integral part of her self-care routine.

About 7 years later, her son suggested she look into becoming a yoga teacher as it was clear how much she loved and benefitted from the practice. In 2016, with the unwavering support of her husband, she decided to take the plunge. Since then, teaching has been an ongoing ardour which Claire accepts as a wholehearted privilege. The eternal student herself, she gains inspiration from the students and crew in the Human.Kind community, her own practice, the ancient teachings, her beloved family and the impact yoga has on her body, mind and spirit.

For Claire, she believes we are all a masterpiece in progress. Some days the work is easier or more obvious than other days. Mistakes are a chance for growth when approached as embodied wisdom and enveloped with compassion. She is known as a story teller, anatomy enthusiast, and a traditional devotee with a spark of playfulness. She will welcome you with an open-heart to share within the community at Human.Kind.
