Isy Litt

(she/her)
Facilitator & Educator

Isy began her yoga practice around six years ago during the pandemic, initially seeking relief from physical tightness and discomfort in her body. What started as a recommendation from a massage therapist soon became a deeply transformative relationship with the practice. Through yoga, Isy not only regained mobility and eased physical pain, but also found a sense of spaciousness and steadiness in a busy mind.

Inspired by the impact yoga had on her life, Isy completed her teacher training in 2023. Her passion has continued to grow through her study of Eastern philosophy and the traditional roots of yoga, which she honours as a practice developed over thousands of years to cultivate awareness and train the mind.

Alongside her movement practice, Isy has been studying and practicing meditation for over four years, finding it to be an essential companion to Yin Yoga. Drawing from Eastern philosophy, she understands that mental busyness and emotional overwhelm often manifest as tension in the body. Yin became the place where she learned to truly slow down and rest, and this experience deeply informs the way she facilitates her classes.

Isy’s Yin offerings are gentle, grounding, and meditative, often incorporating breath, stillness, and sound to support nervous system regulation and deep rest. Her intention is to create a quiet refuge from the demands of daily life. Her aim is to create a safe, supportive space where students can soften, settle, and reconnect with themselves, exactly as they are.
