Human.Kind

Business can (and should) be a force for good in the world.

We reject the high price, high growth, minimum care, and maximum profit model known as ‘business as usual’.

The social and environmental degradation we see today is driven by businesses’ extractive race for more. Instead, we can all make choices based on long-term health and sustainability.

At Human.Kind we orient by our values, and our certified B-Corp commitments.

This new membership model is an example of interconnection and care in action. It’s our way of creating more sustainable and distributed value for everyone involved in this business ecosystem. That’s our members (you), our staff, our community, and our environment.

One price doesn’t fit all.

Social equity means making it easier for people to access what they need. Whilst allowing those who can, to contribute to the wellbeing of others. This generates a reciprocal system of health and stability for all in the wider Human.Kind community.

There are 4 main in-studio membership types:

All are paid fortnightly, to improve financial accessibility.

All get unlimited classes and full member’s benefits.

The difference is in the length of commitment, and the amount paid for different needs.

Flexible and Core memberships are a set rate.

Subsidised and Impact memberships are on a sliding scale.

Subsidised is for those needing support. Students, concession holders, underemployed, anyone facing financial difficulties. This is a sliding scale rate where you choose what’s accessible for you. Subsidised memberships are enabled by the Impact Members.

Impact is for those who can flex up. You not only support those who cannot access a full priced membership. You also contribute to First Nations memberships and training scholarships, The Ripple Effect Community Grants, Pay-What-You-Can programs, and other social equity initiatives. You become a benefactor within this community.

We know some people don’t fit into these boxes. You are welcome here too. In a commitment to diversity and inclusivity, here are some different models.

Alternative membership options include:

First Nations Free: Pay the rent. 100% subsidised membership for Indigenous Australians.

Pay-What-You-Can: For those in financial hardship. Be supported through stressful times.

Work Exchange: Trade your time and energy instead of money.

Livestream memberships continue at set rates.

Class packs are still available for casual or 10 classes with concession rates.

Welcome to business unusual.
This is how we support each other to create a society that is contributive, generative, and equitable.
