CoFounder, Creative Director & Lead Facilitator

My work aims to spark wonder, reconstruct meaning, and find fluency in our shared humanity.

Over the past decades, I have had the privilege of guiding thousands of people  to consciously shape their presence in the world. I’ve devoted the past 15 years to studying, practicing, and teaching the tools of awareness. Trying to translate ancient wisdoms into the dialect of our modern world.

I’ve always been a philosopher poet, spending much of my youth as a writer and performing artist, touring festivals around Australia and the world.

In 2008 I completed a degree in International Relations (yep, heal the world kid) majoring in Language and Linguistics at Griffith University.

Around the same time I started becoming more and more immersed in yoga practices, eventually completing over 1000hrs of formal certifications across a huge range of modalities. The highlights include extensive training with Sarah Powers, an 800hr History, Literature and Philosophy course with Georg Feuerstein, and working closely with Duncan Peak at Power Living. I also credit my time with Annie Carpenter, Lorin Roche, Jo Phee, and Rod Stryker.

Over the past five years my practice has turned towards the Buddha Dharma in the Insight tradition. In 2022 I completed a two year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification led by Jack Kornfield, and Tara Brach, alongside the Greater Good Science Centre at the University of California, Berkeley.

Closer to home, I’m now studying with the Insight Meditation Institute Australia, on their long pathway to become a dharma teacher. I sit regular silent retreats with the IMA sangha, and with Timothea Goddard and Openground.

In parallel, I’ve recently commenced a Masters Degree in Psychotherapy at Adelaide University. I find this blend of science and spirituality offers the best blend of integrity and potency to guide people through today’s world.

I practice and work on unceded Kaurna Land. Alongside the rest of the Human.Kind team and open-hearted community, I am honoured to be recognised as a sustainable business trailblazer alongside my partner in business (and love) Triton Tunis-Mitchell. Last year I was named one of South Australia’s leading business entrepreneurs under 40 (only just 😉

Together, our lofty aspiration through Human.Kind is to purse environmental,  social, and spiritual activism – to be of benefit to all beings and this planet.
